An immersive installation that involves an artistic research in a form of a film and a tapestry to visualize the urgency to connect with other living bodies (human and non-human) with the importance of giving back to Mother Earth alongside sharing ancestral Javanese teachings rooted in my family.

Forever Summer DDW  <> de Onkruidenier

Works held at Van Abbe Museum & Cafe, Eindhoven, NL
de Onkruidenier hosted a daily tasting performance which was held in the Van Abbe Museum Cafe. This performance allow the viewers to discuss surivival mechanisms of tomatoes through pigments, their ancestral history and rethink a more regenerative relationship we have with crops within the ecosystem.The tasting performance involves drying tomato as fruit leather and chutney based on the harvest of the last year.

Since 2021, de Onkruidenier creates a physical archive of dried tomato skins that have been grown outside of the museum. By organizing the skins based on color, it shows the diverse range of tomato pigments and information that are printed on the cards below the frames.

Ice for Ice

A bar experience that opens up the discussion of ice harvesting and the huge industry it has become today. The scenario consist of napkins, playing cards, a menu and typographical implements on the drinks itself.
